Do you have a large workforce? Do they have to be constantly mobile or on-site?

Do they have to constantly communicate with each other whenever or wherever they are?

Phone bills are over the roof? Do you wish to have an efficient alternative solution for communication?

Professional businesses and organizations are currently relying on a variety of devices to meet their communication needs, including combinations of 2-way radios and push-to-talk over cellular products. Therefore, Uni. has developed a digital 2-way radio that provides voice and data capability on one device with quality, reliability or mobility.

Uni. introduces Portable U3 Digital 2-way radio & Public Safety handheld wireless device, a digital communications device that combines the best of two-way radio with technology to deliver increased capacity and spectral efficiency, integrated data applications and enhanced voice communications.

The U3 device can be used with existing repeaters when using conventional signaling (FM Voice and MDC 1200 data). It also supports commonly used analog conventional protocols so that the U3 2-way radio can be used in existing 2-way conventional infrastructures, as radios need to be replaced. This will ensure maximum compatibility with existing repeaters and radios.

Public systems such as Radio systems, Mass Notification systems and Telephone systems or Professional organizations such as transportation, education, construction, manufacturing, mining, hotels, public and private security, and public service entities are faced with the need for improved workforce productivity, operational efficiency and increased mobility while maintaining constant connectivity with the workforce.

Uni.'s Portable Digital 2-way Radio is designed to meet the expanding needs of these customers, especially those requiring reliable business critical communications combined with the higher performance capabilities that 2-way radio communication technology can provide.
P25 & Conventional Radio Requirement Standard*
Uni.'s 2-way radio series can be upgraded to meet P25 & other conventional radio standards. So you can be assured of higher performance and reliability.
GPS Function*
This system is just not simply a 2-way radio communication system. It can be further used as GPS tracking and navigation system when Unication smart PDA can be linked with radios through BT Protocol.
Data Communication*
This system is not only a 2-way radio voice communication system, it supports data communication too. Among few data communications features are short message, can message, images, and personal identification and fingerprint identification in the future.
Bluetooth Headsets Compatibility
2-way radios being the obvious communication devices, bluetooth headsets can only be used to communicate in this system.
Voice Record Function
Up to 10 minutes of voice messages and conversations can be stored on the device itself. Thus, the recording can be used for voice prompt, voice memo, auto answer etc.
Motion Sensor
U3 built-in motion sensor can detect lack of movement. This can be used to detect when the device holder is in trouble in man down emergency scenarios and the radio has not been moved for a predetermined period of time.
Emergency Services
The U3 device user has the ability to trigger an emergency notification to a dispatcher or another radio.
Messaging with Attachment
Enhanced messaging enables the U3 device to send, receive and organize text messages. Attachments such as images and data files can be sent and received via messaging.
Scanning
Scanning enables a radio user to monitor a predefined list of channels for incoming calls. Priority scanning is an option where up to two priority channels can be defined.
Telephone Call Connectivity*
By connecting with Unication console system, U3 radio can even connect to the regular PSTN to make a telephone call. Thus, providing more efficiency and flexibility.
Selective / Group / Individual Call
With our "selective call" feature, you will have more flexible choices to select which contact to talk to. You can either choose to talk with only an individual in a group, or talk with your entire group members at once.
Supports All VHF and UHF Bands/ 12.5 & 25 kHz Channel Spacing
Our system supports all VHF and UHF bands, providing better signal quality by switching between 12.5 / 25 kHz channel spacing. Thus, satisfying the 2-way radios' users.
Talkaround
When Talkaround is enabled, transmitter and receiver will use the same frequency and the signal of transmitter and receiver will become the same. Talkaround is usually applied when a system repeater fails or is unreachable.
Squelch Support
Squelch can be used to filter out background noise from a channel and/ or block unwanted calls that do not belong to the group.
Call Alert
You can alert people who you are about to talk by transmitting Call alert to other radios in your group.
Time Out Timer
To using the channels more efficiently, this function enable someone use the same channel for a long time. The default setting is after transmitting for 3 minutes, the radio will stop transmitting and a tone will sound.
Busy Channel Lock Out
To avoid making failed communication, this function enable to not to transmitting on a channel that someone is using.
*These features are optional and may not be available in certain software version.
